C4D 2026, Blender 4.5, and Maya 2026 deployed!

Posted on October 9, 2025 in Blog News

We’re trying to accelerate our deployment schedule of new software builds.  In the past, we’ve taken the more conservative route, often waiting for months after a software release before we deploy to the farm.  While that approach works for most people, some of our customers just like to be unpaid beta testers.  If that’s you, you’re in luck!

Several new render app versions were rolled out to the farm last week, along with a new agent build that supports them.  The new app versions are only available in agent version 4.11 or later, so make sure you leave your agent running while not in use so it can auto-update.  The new render apps deployed are:

Cinema 4D 2026

Blender 4.4 and 4.5

Maya 2026 (!)

The render-app-specific pages in our kbase have been updated with full details of exact version numbers, along with version numbers of render engines and plugins, if any.  We’ll be adding additional render engines and plugins to the newer render apps in the coming weeks, but for now, they are pretty barebones installs.

You might be as shocked as we are to see Maya 2026 in the list.  Amazingly, the 2026 installer actually ran without puking out a nonsensical error that even Autodesk support doesn’t know anything about.  We don’t plan to go back and install interim versions between 2020 and 2026, since most of the installers we tried wouldn’t complete successfully, but hopefully their good installer juju will continue in future releases.  We hope to get V-Ray and Redshift running in Maya 2026 in the near future.
