How long will it take to render my job?

Great question! The short answer: We can’t even guess until you submit it and a portion of it completes.

The slightly longer answer: Scene file complexity isn’t something that can be estimated. Since complexity is the sole determining factor of render time, the only way to estimate render time is to render some portion of your job and extrapolate that time over the remainder of the unfinished job portions. Our system tracks your render jobs while the job is running, and once at least one portion completes, you’ll see an estimated completion time displayed in our queue viewer. This time is updated during the job run, so if you change your job’s Power level, the Farm Load shifts, or more portions complete, the ETC is updated accordingly. Since you are in control of your job’s Power level during the render, you are also in control of the render completion time.
